Introduction

A project to digitize the first 55 years of Vatican Notes and make it available on the Web site is now (October 2007) about 30% complete. Paper copies are being scanned at high resolution (300 dpi) and processed through ReadIRIS 11 optical character recognition software to create text-searchable Adobe PDF files. You can then use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.

Ultimately, the entire run of the publication will be made available this way, with the most recent five years password protected to limit access to Society members.
